Demand “No-Excuse” Absentee Ballots

Tennessee needs to take the safety concerns of their citizens seriously.  The State Attorney General has ruled that”“FEAR OF BECOMING ILL OR
INFECTING OTHERS” is not a valid reason to obtain a mail-in ballot.  Other states have implemented mail-in ballots with no evidence of voter fraud.  Voting in person can be deadly for some Tennesseans, such as elderly, immune compromised, pregnant women and others.  Fears of acquiring COVID-19 at a polling place and taking that infection home to their families is rational and valid.  The citizens of Tennessee should not have to risk their lives to vote.  Please sign this petition to demand universal mail-in ballots.  You can call your state representative and senator to demand our concerns are taken seriously.  Click here to go to a directory of state representatives and here for senators.
